For temporary, emergency use only. Each bottle contains fourteen 130-mg tablets of potassium iodide, enough for one adult for two weeks. When used as instructed by a health care professional, potassium iodide safely provides iodine to the receptor sites of the thyroid gland, blocking the uptake of potentially harmful radioactive iodine in a radiation exposure emergency. Not for use by individuals with a thyroid condition or iodine sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children.
